Ruben Roy, vice president and senior research analyst, joined Pacific Crest in 2004 to round out the semiconductor team. Mr. Roy previously served as a communications components analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners and specialized in communications equipment in UBS Warburg’s Global Equity Research Group. Prior to his career on Wall Street, Mr. Roy worked as an electrical design engineer, and later as a sales engineer. He was ranked in Institutional Investor’s 2008 & 2009 All-American Research Team for the Semiconductor category and received honorable mention in 2006 & 2007. Mr. Roy was ranked #2 by StarMine for his stock picking in the semiconductor & semiconductor equipment industry for 2008.
