Weston Twigg leads the renewable energy technologies and semiconductor capital equipment research practices for Pacific Crest. In 2010, Weston was ranked as one of the top ten overall stock pickers in the U.S. by the Financial Times and StarMine. Weston was also recognized in the 2010 “Best on the Street” survey by the Wall Street Journal, and has been a ranked analyst on Institutional Investor's All-American Research Team since 2008, when he was also recognized as a "best up and coming analyst" by the magazine.

Prior to joining Pacific Crest, Mr. Twigg worked as a senior engineer at Intel, where he managed Intel’s relationship with one of its largest fab equipment suppliers, various fab equipment selections, supplier development programs and new equipment collaborations. Prior to Intel, Weston worked at Samsung Austin Semiconductor as a process engineer in the chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) group, where he helped bring up the fab’s first CMP process.

Mr. Twigg received his M.B.A. from the University of Washington, his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, and his B.A. in chemistry from Albion College.
